Limited motor skills, excessive salivation and constant wailing, among other faults, today led the Ministry for Family Affairs to place a product recall on babies born within the last 13 months.
“All infants born in the years 2019 and 2020 are to be brought to specially designated deposit points by the end of the month,” the acting Minister of Family Affairs told the Postillon. “In order to keep inconvenience to a minimum, parents may either exchange their baby for a brand-new one or choose a shopping voucher worth $800.”
However, the decision was met with a backlash from critics who deem the exchange unnecessary. They point out that babies born in 2018 and, indeed, in previous years showed almost identical faults to begin with. These children are now able to move almost normally and have started to drool and cry much less, too.
