Kharkiv (dpo) - How awful that people have to suffer like this! One young Ukrainian in a bomb shelter in Kharkiv constantly worries about those poor people in other countries who are suffering the trauma of high fuel costs.
“My daddy showed me those horrible pictures from other countries on his phone, where you can see the fuel prices: $4.27 per gallon in New York and €2.14 per litre in Berlin!” Natalia, aged 8, tells us that she hasn’t been able to sleep since seeing the pictures.
She is shocked that people have to endure such extreme suffering for Putin’s actions in some places. “These people must lose hope when they are queuing to fill up their cars! They haven’t done anything to hurt anyone!”
Natalia wants to do something to help alleviate the suffering in these places. She says, “As soon as we get out of here, I am going to break open my piggy bank. There is still 12 hryvnia and 60 kopiykas in there. I will give it to ‘Filling stations without borders’ or another charity.”
