Toddler turns gay after parents forget to dress him in blue

Dayton, TN (dpo) - Small mistakes can have big consequences. That is something Nellie Sue Ulmer knows all too well. She forgot to include a blue item of clothing when dressing her one-year old son Beau on just one occasion and now he is homosexual.

It all started six weeks ago when Beau put on the wrong jumper. “I always make sure that he is wearing something blue when I get him dressed”, explains the 26 year old wife and mother. “There always has to be at least one fire truck or superhero on it, too, or he’ll get confused.”
Then came the accident, “I was in a hurry to get to an appointment so just quickly grabbed some clothes for him. I wasn’t paying attention and accidentally picked up a red sweater with pink stitching, yellow pants and grey shoes!” Nellie Sue sobs quietly. Her husband takes her by the arm and comforts her.
The young mother has been plagued with worry ever since her mistake. “I have the impression that he’s been acting strange.” Previously, he had been a particularly masculine baby, yet now he only shows interest in dolls, clothes and ponies. “Sometimes he looks at the other baby boys in this odd way”, she describes. “I have no idea what to do next.”
Beau’s father, Reed Ulmer, is also at breaking point. “I just don’t have a connection with him anymore”, explains the 28 year old salesman. “I can show him a picture of a pretty woman and there is no reaction at all. And he doesn’t want to play football with me! Some people think that’s because he can’t walk properly yet, but I know what’s going on.”
This story is particularly tragic since Beau is not the Ulmer family’s first victim of clothing errors confusing sexual orientation. His big sister, Savannah (aged 2), has been a lesbian ever since Reed accidentally dressed her in trousers instead of her little pink skirt.
